I bought this a while ago because I didn't have a yellow or purple eyeshadow so why not get both for the price of one!
So the first on the right is a really nice goldenrod yellow color. It looks kind of like gold dust. The second color on the left is a bright purple color. They are both highly pigmented, but the purple color is hard to work with. The yellow color has a metallic sheen but the purple color is matte. As you can see from the pictures, the duo comes with a mirror on the botton which is great for traveling. Now... for the review!
REVIEW:

There are too many of these duos to list! I want to buy some more... but I never find any colors that appeal to me.
My Thoughts:
I don't find myself picking this up too often, but when I do I always get amazing results! These are colors that I wouldn't wear everyday. I find that when I pair the yellow color over my NYX jumbo eye pencil in French fries, it gives me an amazing neutral look! I shall be wearing that look more often. I actually used this duo to do my homecoming dance look because my dress was purple and it fit so perfectly! The lasting power isn't that strong, but I haven't used it over an eyeshadow base yet so I shall do that when I get the chance. My eyeshadows have been collecting dust in my drawer because I rarely use them in this hot hot weather... I rarely use any makeup for that matter. I have been exercising a lot to get ready for bikini season =P. I won't be buying any makeup for a while because I want to buy some asian products when I go to Singapore! I recommend this product!!

E.L.F Eyeshadow Quad in Butternut
REVIEW:
Product: 5/5
Quality: 3/5
Overall: 4/5
Price: $1 at Target or www.eyeslipsface.com
Other Colors it comes in:
-Butternut (I have)
-Pretty N' Pink
-Silver Lining
-Nouveau Neutrals
-Luxe
-Drama (I have)
-Ivy
-Matte Mauve
-Blue Moon
I want Ivy and I'm thinking of buying some of their cream eyeshadows too. I did a review on the Drama quad a while back so you can go check that out if you'd like.
What the E.L.F website states:
Luxuriously smooth, corn silk formula provides eyes with a neutral base and an awakened brightness. The formula blends into skin for a long lasting, beautiful effect. The 4 color quad allows for both natural and dramatic looks. Mirror in compact included.
My Thoughts:
I love love love love love this quad! I use the two darker colors more often because the other two don't show up very well... but I guess that's good for school. I tried to use the light yellowish color as a highlight, but I can't stand shimmery highlighters. I also don't like shimmery eyeshadow and prefer matte eyeshadow anyday, but the farthest color isn't too shimmery for a wearable everyday color. I use to wear it everyday, but realized it was a bit too dark so I stopped. But I have hit pan on that tan color... shows how much I've used it! Flecks of eyeshadow do fly out whenever I dip the brush into a color but it's only $1 so what can you expect. Go try these quads!!! You won't regret. I wish they did come out with more quads though.

Ulta Eyeshadow - Love
I went to Ross and Macy's today and I bought two sets of headbands from Ross. They are super super cute! At Macy's I tested out the Juicy Couture and Vera Wang Princess perfume. I think I'm going to buy the Juicy Couture one because I've been eyeing it for the longest time... and my Mom hasn't bought me a birthday gift yet =). But it is expensive... *sigh*. I'm going to do a haul blog or maybe I'll make a video tomorrow.
So I bought this eyeshadow last year; sometime in October. Yeah... pretty long! It was a bad decision of color because pinks don't look that wonderful on me so I don't use this color very often. Maybe I'll try doing a look with this and some purples.
REVIEW:
Product: 3/5
Quality: 3/5
Overall: 3/5
Price: $2.50 at Ulta - it was a buy 2 for $5 deal. I bought another nail polish too.
Other Colors it comes in:
Click Here to see all the other colors. - There are lots to choose from!!! The color selection is wonderful.
According to the Ulta Website:
Accentuate your eyes with a superfine talc eyeshadow that is long-lasting, creaseproof, and fadeproof.
My Thoughts:
Ummm... I don't hate it but I don't love it either. I think I don't like it as much because I chose the wrong color for me. If I had chosen a color I would wear more often, like a lighter pink or something (as a highlight) then I would like it more. Other than that, the pigmentation isn't all that wonderful either. It does blend out smoothly which is always a plus. I don't know that there is much more to say... except it doesn't crease even without a base but it does fade. So overall it is pretty much an okay eyeshadow. I am definitely going to buy another color to see if I like it better next time I go to Ulta. There isn't one close to my house so I don't go that often. If you have any questions please e-mail me!

Bare Bronze Radiant Shimmer Eye Palette - Heat Mirage
Spring Break!!! Finally.... I think I'm going to write a lot of reviews and just post one each day so you guys don't think I'm on hiatus or anything =). As you can see, I have a new layout! It looks more spring like. So this review is for Victoria's Secret Bare Bronze Radiant Shimmer Eye Palette in Heat Mirage. I bought it during their semi-annual sale in January I think.
REVIEW:
Product: 5/5
Quality: 4/5
Overall: 4/5
Price: $19.50 at Victoria's Secret .28 oz. But I bought it for $4 at the annual sale =)!!!!
According to the Victoria's Secret Website:
What it is:
"Five metallic shades for a variety of sultry looks."
What it does:
"Worn dry for a soft, shiny finish or wet for a bold metallic look. Can also be used on cheeks or as a face bronzer"
Other Colors It Comes In:
Click HERE to see all the colors
The website only shows the palette in Desert Night so I don't know if they still have Heart Mirage on sale.
The Colors on the Palette:
1st - Shimmery beige/golden color (highlight)
2nd - A tan shimmery color (lid)
3rd - Shimmery copper
4th - Super bright shocking magenta
5th - Dark brown, not as shimmery as the other colors (crease)
My Thoughts:
I personally only use it as an eyeshadow because of my acne-prone skin. I don't use any foundations, concealer, bronzer, or blush because everything breaks me out. That's why most of the makeup I own in concentrated towards the eyes and lips. But hey, it saves me a lot of money =)! Anyways, I use the tan color all over my lid to go to school. I don't use eyeshadow everyday, but when I do I usually use this color or a color from my E.L.F Butternut quad. If I add any other colors, it is shimmer overkill! If I'm using the beige color as a highlight, I have to use a matte lid color. The crease color isn't too shimmery so I can make good use of it. This palette is wonderful in my opinion and I got it for only $4!!! You can also use the eyeshadows wet for a metallic finish. I use the metallic finish for formal occasions. I haven't used the copper color, but the magenta color is gorgeous! Sometimes when I want a bright eyeliner, I use the magenta with an eyeliner brush to line my top lid. Next time there's a sale, go buy this palette!!! It's not worth $19.50.
The pigmentation is okay... not wonderful. Sometimes I get more shimmer than color.

E.L.F Eyeshadow Quad in Drama
Another E.L.F product! It was only $1, like most of E.L.F's products. I bought the eyeshadow quad in Drama. These colors are good for a smokey eye look. Colors from left to right: a white, navy grey, dark dark navy blue (almost looks black), and a silvery grey color. I use the white as my highlight, and the silvery grey on my lid. Then either the navy grey or dark navy in my crease. The applicator that it comes with is crap, so I use my eyeshadow brush from Studio Tools (review coming soon!). I'll post a picture of this look... maybe. I haven't been wearing much makeup lately because its summer and I don't want to be wearing heavy makeup around all day.
Closed
Colors from left to right: White, navy grey, dark navy, and silvery grey.
REVIEW:
Product: 5/5
Quality: 3/5
Overall: 4/5
Price: $1 at Target!!!!!!!!
Colors it Comes in:
-Butternut
-Pretty N' Pink
-Silver Lining
-Nouveau Neutrals
-Luxe
-Drama (the one that I have)
-Ivy
-Matte Mauve
-Blue Moon
I want Butternut and Matte Mauve!
My Thoughts:
The colors come out vibrant and are very pigmented. Blending is a breeze with these colors. It's staying power is decent; around 5-7 hours. It only thing I hate is that a lot of the product flakes off every time your brush touches the eyeshadow. But, it was only $1 so what can you expect. Removal is easy with my Pond's Makeup remover cream, but I don't know about other makeup removers. The packaging is super cute and simple. It says "e.l.f Brightening Eye Color" on the front. There is also a little mirror (just big enough to see one eye) underneath the brush applicator. I would definitely recommend this product. Try it out, its only $1 anyway: so if you hate it, then you won't feel so bad! Lol.

Covergirl and Milani Eyeshadows
I've never done anything too drastic with my eyeshadow. I usually do a neutral look because it fits the occasion no matter where you go. The only neutral eyeshadow I have is covergirl's eyeshadow quad in Sheerly Nudes. The name is quite fitting to this product because it is VERY sheer. It may take many applications to get the color you want. I don't know if all their quads are like this because this is the only one I own. It does the job for me though because I like a simple look for a normal day. Sometimes I mix it with my Milani eyeshadow in Taffy. I'll try to post a look, but I don't think it will show up.
Milani single eyeshadow in Taffy and Covergirl's Eye Enhancer quad in Sheerly Nudes.

Milani single eyeshadow in Taffy (backside)
REVIEW for Covergirl's eyeshadow quad in Sheerly Nudes:
Product: 5/5
Quality: 3/5
Overall: 3/5
Price: $5-6 at drugstores or anywhere Covergirl can be found.
My Thoughts:
So, I do like this product, but I'm sure MANY people would be disappointed because of how sheer it is. It takes a few applications for a good amount of color to show. It is kind of flaky, but not overwhelming. It works for me for my everyday look, but I wouldn't repurchase this again. Maybe I just got too sheer of colors. I'm thinking about getting the Coffee Shop or Country Woods ones... have any of you tried those?
REVIEW for Milani's single eyeshadow in Taffy:
Product: 3/5
Quality: 5/5
Overall: 4/5
Price: $2-3 at drugstores that sell Milani products. Target, K-Mart, etc.
My Thoughts:
This is a VERY pigmented eyeshadow, but I took 2 points off the product rating because it broke the very first time I opened it. I don't know if I was careless or what, but it broke, and it has broken numerous times after that. It only takes one application for a vibrant and rich color. I suggest buying these and they are very cheap!! I'm definitely buying more of these, but lately I can't seem to find them anywhere. I've been checking out my local Target a few times, but everytime I go they aren't there. They haven't been sold out, they just aren't there.
Note: These can fit into MAC and E.L.F pallets for those who want to depot these eyeshadows.
Well, tell me if you like, love, or hate these products!! Would love to hear from you! New blog I'm reading! http://barebudgetbeauty.blogspot.com go check her out!
