I was watching Xteener's youtube video review on her favorite mascaras. Among others was this 2000 Calorie Mascara from Max Factor. She also mentioned Almay and Covergirl's lash blast. I had already used Lashblast and it was amazingly good until it got too old and started to clump. So I went out to buy this mascara in Rich Black (I think it's the darkest color).
REVIEW:
Product: 5/5
Quality: 5/5
Overall: 5/5
Price: $5 at Target for .3 fl oz. (9ml)
Other Colors It Comes In:
-Rich Black (I have)
-Soft Black
-Black Brown
-Deep Auburn
My Thoughts:
Wonderful! Just as good as the Lash Blast! I bought the waterproof one because it holds my curl better. Otherwise, my lashes just stick straight out. I does everything I want - lengthen, define, and a little bit of volume. I don't want too much volume because I don't want to go to school looking fancy. It gives me natural volume. I like this brush better than the Lash Blast because it's smaller and easier to get into the corners of my eyes. I have no preference on whether a bristle or plastic brush is better... it seems the same to me.

Neutrogena Weightless Volume wax-free Mascara in Rich Black
The reason I bought this mascara was because my friend told me that it was super amazing. I've been using it for about a week now and it's true!!! It never clumps and lengthens naturally. It doesn't add volume or hold a curl very well though =(. The brush is full of bristles and separates my lashes very well. This is my new favorite mascara!!! I'm probably going to try Maybelline's Full N' Soft mascara next. Has anyone tried it before?
The Brush

My Thoughts:
Love, love, love, love it! It gives me a very natural look which is good for work and school. You could probably apply a zillion coats of this and it wouldn't clump. Ok, not really THAT many... but you get my point. The brush is a nice size and can reach all my eyelash quite well. The only thing that I don't like is that it can't hold a curl very well. Maybe if I use a curl holding mascara underneath this one? If you know of a mascara that holds a curl well please tell me!

Haul - Only 3 things!!!
I was looking for a new mascara because my Covergirl Lash Exact Mascara is crap and I hate it. It clumps like there's no tomorrow. My friend recommended me Neutrogena's Weightless Volume Mascara so I decided to try it out. I also bought Revlon's Colorstay Eyeliner in Brown. I can't wait to try them out!
Neutrogena's Weightless Volume Mascara and Revlon's Colorstay Eyeliner.
I also headed over to Walgreens to buy Sea Breeze toner. I've heard many good things about their original formula, but they discontinued that, so I decided to try their new sensitive-skin formula. I've used it twice, and its worked pretty well... it has taken a lot of the dirt off my face that my face wash couldn't =).

A Day at the Mall
So I pretty much spent my entire afternoon at the mall today... Only spent like $17 though lol. Anyways, I have some reviews on some items I tested out at Sephora. I just tested them once, I didn't buy anything. I tested out the FUZE Slenderize Guilt Free Lip Gloss by Too Faced in the Dragonfruit scent or something. I really really really really like the smell of this lip gloss and it goes on super smooth. After a while, it did get sticky and annoying... for $18 I think you could find a better and cheaper lip gloss. I wouldn't recommend this.
The next thing I tried was Bourjois Two-Tone Eyeliner Noir & Blanc. It was pretty good and went on smoothly. It is a double sided pencil; one end is white and the other end is black. I wanted to buy a white eyeliner because it makes your eyes look bigger and it isn't as drastic as black eyeliner all around your eye. Haven't found the right one yet, but pretty close! I'll let you know when I do find a good white eyeliner.
Yes, this post is super long, I hope I don't bore you! Anyways, the next product I tried was the Shu Uemura Mini Eyelash Curler... and overall... *drumroll* I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! It curled my eyelashes really well without having to hold it there for like 20 seconds. It curled my lashes in like... 2 seconds? AMAZING PRODUCT!!! I didn't buy it because I thought I might find it cheaper somewhere online... but no luck so far. I WILL get my hands on this products... lol.
And of course when you curl your lashes... you must always put on some mascara! After I read soooo many good reviews on the Imju Fiberwig Mascara, I tried it and I really like it. It doesn't really add any boldness or anything, it just lengthens. Once in a while, I like to have very little mascara on and this would be a good product to use. It's $22... if it was cheaper I would have bought it. Gosh! Why is makeup so expensive!! *sigh* I think I'll stick to drugstore mascara because I don't want to spend $22 every 3-4 months. If you do have money to splurge, I would definitely recommend this.
I would buy all these products (except the lip gloss) if I had the money!
