Jordana Kohl Kajal Eyeliner

Eyeliner is one of my favorite products ever invented! It really opens up my eyes to make them look more awake and healthy. I found this product when I was walking though Walgreens and it was only $1.99 so I picked up Parsian Plum. Plum and purple eyeliners are suppose to enhance brown eyes and it really does!

REVIEW:
Product: 4/5
Quality: 5/5
Overall: 5/5
Price: $1.99 at Walgreens

Other Colors it comes in:
I can't seem to find a website that says what other colors there are.

Other notes:
It is a wooden eyeliner pencil so it must be sharpened. I prefer eyeliner pencils this way because I can make it however sharp I want. The automatic ones get messy sometimes.
They have colored the bottom of the pencil to match whatever color the eyeliner is... super easy to find what color you are looking for without reading the label!

My Thoughts:
Good eyeliner for the price! If you warm it up with your hands for a few seconds, the texture becomes very creamy and smooth. It goes on without a hassle and comes off without a hassle. The color selection is limited, I think there are only 10 or so colors. I will check next time I go to Walgreens... which should be tomorrow! It's snowing over here right now so I don't feel like going out in the cold! Brrrr. Anyways, the only part I didn't like is that it smudges by my last class. It isn't long lasting so I have to make sure I don't look like an idiot. I'm going to try to put shadow over it and see how long it lasts. Otherwise, if you don't mind touching up once a day, this eyeliner is a good one for the price.

What is your favorite eyeliner? How long does it last?

Sephora Slim Eyeliner in Black and White

My Covergirl Perfect Point Plus eyeliner is crap and wouldn't stay on my top lid at all. It would smear after I blinked one time. So after reading good reviews on Sephora's slim eyeliners, I went to buy one in black and white. They are only $4 each too (except that they are mini size).

Top - Black
Bottom - White

REVIEW:

My Thoughts:
Absolutely love it! It doesn't smudge or wear off during the day. It glides on smoothly and doesn't tug at my skin or anything. There are many many many different colors to choose from so I bet anyone can find something suitable for them. I bought the white one as well because I wanted to brighten up my eye a bit more. These don't stay on my waterline very well at all. It comes off in like... an hour or less. Recommended for the top and bottom lash lines... but not if you want something to line your waterline. Hope this was helpful!

Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner in Brown

I wanted a brown eyeliner just for the fun of it. I've been reading sooooo many good reviews on this eyeliner I just had to go try it out. It claims it stays on for 16 hours, but I have yet to try that out... I don't want to sleep with eyeliner on! I have worn it for about 10 hours though and it stayed on perfectly fine. So I ordered a full-length mirror a few weeks ago and it was delivered yesterday! Yay! Yeah, that was a bit random... lol. Oh yeah, I went to Sephora on Friday and bought some stuff and signed up to be a Beauty Insider =). I got a lip brush, 2 of their slim eyeliners and my sister wanted nail polish (can never have too much right?). Pics coming soon on that. So... onto the review now that I've ranted a bit.

My Thoughts:
I gave the product a 4/5 because I'm not liking this color too much. I guess I'm used to black eyeliner. So it stays on for the longest time and even when I wash my face, it doesn't come off. Good thing my handy dandy (notebook! Lol Blue's Clues) makeup remover takes it off super easily. I think I'm going to buy the Revlon Liquid eyeliner sometime soon because I've also read good reviews on that. Lol.

Haul - Only 3 things!!!

I was looking for a new mascara because my Covergirl Lash Exact Mascara is crap and I hate it. It clumps like there's no tomorrow. My friend recommended me Neutrogena's Weightless Volume Mascara so I decided to try it out. I also bought Revlon's Colorstay Eyeliner in Brown. I can't wait to try them out!

Neutrogena's Weightless Volume Mascara and Revlon's Colorstay Eyeliner.

I also headed over to Walgreens to buy Sea Breeze toner. I've heard many good things about their original formula, but they discontinued that, so I decided to try their new sensitive-skin formula. I've used it twice, and its worked pretty well... it has taken a lot of the dirt off my face that my face wash couldn't =).

Covergirl's Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner

I hope you all had a wonderful, fun, and safe July 4th! How were the fireworks? I was quite disappointed with my city's fireworks this year. They usually are amazing, but this year... well I don't know... it seemed shorter.

I really needed a black eyeliner like 2 months ago because there was a special occasion that night and I just couldn't find my other one. I quickly ran to the nearest drug store to pick up a stick. Since I was in a hurry, I just picked up Covergirl's Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner in Black Onyx 200.

REVIEW:
Product: 4/5
Quality: 4/5
Overall: 4/5
Price: $5-6 at Target, Wal-Mart or any drugstore.

Colors It Comes In:
-Black Onyx 200 (the one I bought)
-Charcoal 205
-Espresso 210
-Chestnut 212
-Grey Khaki 215
-Midnight Blue 220
-Plum Velvet 225
-Starlightening 235

I hate how products have numbers in their names... don't you?!

My Thoughts:
Overall, this is a pretty good eyeliner. It has a built in sharpener, but if you twist the eyeliner up too much, it breaks so be careful! It also has a smudger sponge on the end. It doesn't work too well, but it gets the job done. It also glides on extremely smoothly so you don't have to tug or pull at your eye. For me, this product does stay on for like 5 hours, but after that it fades or starts running down, which is of course never a good thing!!! You don't want to look like you are tired. It doesn't stay on my waterline, so if you are looking for a eyeliner that does that, this is not for you. If you are just starting out with makeup, like many teenagers are, then I recommend this to start out with because of the super easy application. Don't buy super dark colors. Try Plum Velvet or Chestnut if you are just starting out.

A Day at the Mall

So I pretty much spent my entire afternoon at the mall today... Only spent like $17 though lol. Anyways, I have some reviews on some items I tested out at Sephora. I just tested them once, I didn't buy anything. I tested out the FUZE Slenderize Guilt Free Lip Gloss by Too Faced in the Dragonfruit scent or something. I really really really really like the smell of this lip gloss and it goes on super smooth. After a while, it did get sticky and annoying... for $18 I think you could find a better and cheaper lip gloss. I wouldn't recommend this.

The next thing I tried was Bourjois Two-Tone Eyeliner Noir & Blanc. It was pretty good and went on smoothly. It is a double sided pencil; one end is white and the other end is black. I wanted to buy a white eyeliner because it makes your eyes look bigger and it isn't as drastic as black eyeliner all around your eye. Haven't found the right one yet, but pretty close! I'll let you know when I do find a good white eyeliner.

Yes, this post is super long, I hope I don't bore you! Anyways, the next product I tried was the Shu Uemura Mini Eyelash Curler... and overall... *drumroll* I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! It curled my eyelashes really well without having to hold it there for like 20 seconds. It curled my lashes in like... 2 seconds? AMAZING PRODUCT!!! I didn't buy it because I thought I might find it cheaper somewhere online... but no luck so far. I WILL get my hands on this products... lol.

And of course when you curl your lashes... you must always put on some mascara! After I read soooo many good reviews on the Imju Fiberwig Mascara, I tried it and I really like it. It doesn't really add any boldness or anything, it just lengthens. Once in a while, I like to have very little mascara on and this would be a good product to use. It's $22... if it was cheaper I would have bought it. Gosh! Why is makeup so expensive!! *sigh* I think I'll stick to drugstore mascara because I don't want to spend $22 every 3-4 months. If you do have money to splurge, I would definitely recommend this.

I would buy all these products (except the lip gloss) if I had the money!
